Object List

Displays a list of objects that present and analyze corporate strategy.

Toolbar

The toolbar contains the following buttons:

• Objects — Displays the following options:

  • Open — Use this option to open the selected object. (Whether you can open an object and whether the object opens as read-only depends on your privileges and permissions and on the type of object.)

  • Cut — Use this option to remove the selected folder or object for pasting in another folder.

  • Copy — Use this option to duplicate the selected folder or object and paste it in another folder.

  • Paste — Use this option to paste the folder or object that you have cut or copied in another folder.

  • Delete — Use this option to delete the selected folder or object.

• View — Displays the option System Objects. Use this option to display system folders or objects in the object list. (System folders or objects are those for which the system attribute is set in the "Properties dialog.")

• New Object — Displays these options:

  • Create New Folder — Use this option to create a folder in which to organize objects. To rename the folder, right-click the folder and enter a new name.

  • Create Cause & Effect Map — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Cause & Effect Map tab," where you create a cause & effect map.

  • Create Custom View — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Custom View tab," where you create a custom view.

  • Create KPI — Use this option to display the "KPI editor," where you create a KPI.

  • Create Mission — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Mission tab," where you define a mission statement.

  • Create Strategy Map — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Strategy Map tab," where you create a strategy map.

  • Create Strategy Tree — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Strategy Tree tab," where you create a strategy tree.

  • Create Vision — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: Vision tab," where you define a vision statement.

  • Create KPI Watchlist — Use this option to display the "Scorecard editor: KPI Watchlist tab," where you create a KPI watchlist.

  • Create Agent — (This option is available only when you select a KPI.) Use this option to display the "Create New Agent dialog," where you create an agent from the KPI.

• Open — Use this option to open the selected object. (Whether you can open an object and whether the object opens as read-only depends on your privileges and permissions and on the type of object.)

• Delete — Use this option to delete the selected folder or object.

• Refresh — Use this button to refresh the objects that are displayed in the object list.
