What Are KPI Contribution Wheels?

A KPI contribution wheel diagram allows you to explore a specific KPI along one of its dimensions to visually convey the relative importance and performance for the various dimension members.

You can view a KPI contribution wheel from within any scorecard view that contains a KPI node, such as strategy tree diagrams, strategy contribution wheel diagrams, smart watchlists, and KPI watchlists. Right-click on the KPI in a watchlist or on a diagram node and select View KPI Contribution Wheel. The KPI contribution wheel will open in a new browser window or tab and will not be embedded or viewed within the Scorecard editor window.

Note:

Viewing a KPI contribution wheel from a scorecard diagram, a watchlist or tree pane within a scorecard, or a KPI watchlist, simply creates a new view of the KPI contribution wheel for the KPI without any context (dimension pinnings) transferred from the scorecard or KPI watchlist.

For information on KPI contribution wheels and how to create them, see "Creating KPI Contribution Wheels."
